So I was on facebook, going through a friend's pictures which lead to one of their friend's pictures which lead to another girl's profile who seemed like a really cute girl who I wish I knew...

What're your thoughts on adding a random girl on facebook whom you have a bunch of mutual friends with? I honestly don't think much will result from it, just being able to add her and maybe talking over chat is enough. I don't think I have anything to lose at this point and if she questions who am i or why i added her I would just explain that I saw her on my newsfeed and that she seemed cool. Thoughts?

EDIT: Added her and she accepted, I've never seen her irl at all and I don't know her, what should I message?

EDIT: Messaged her already and we're chatting it up, pretty friendly right now and introductory, not sure how much longer it'll last but it's cool for the moment.
