Usually all you can do is to keep your distance. And when the person reaches out, set a date. Nothing you do(directly) will rebuild attraction.

Only moving on with life has seemed to work for me.

This is only accomplishable by going back to being a stranger to the girl. Once you’ve distanced yourself enough, you can improve your persona by dressing better, getting fitter, and meeting other girls. Only then she might find you attractive again.

The people who are saying distance are correct. But that doesn’t necessarily mean being literally away / separated from each other — it could mean both of you picking up a new hobby and spending more time apart, and becoming “unfamiliar” and “new” to each other again..

Try having increased investment in the self (hobbies, work projects, whatever) during the week & having date nights set up for the weekend… something like that! See how it goes.

I agree with the consensus opinion. Rebuilding attraction once it's gone is a magic trick that few, if any can do.

Attraction itself is a bit of magic. FInding it twice in the same person is like lightning striking twice. There's a reason why the attraction is gone, and odds are you're not going to change it.

What if thats not an option? Their circumstance doesn't allow for them to seperate.
