Hi guys. Hope this is the right place to ask this because I'm annoyed and confused.

A few nights ago I matched with this girl on tinder (let's call her Jane). Jane are texting constantly through the night. After about 4 hours of good conversation I ask her if she would like to get a coffee sometime (doesn't have to be immediate but somewhere down the line). She declines stating that she doesn't want to meet anyone so soon. I thought fair enough and we continue to text on the app for a few more hours.

At about 3am I text her that I'm about to crash. She teases me about going to bed early and she flirts a little to encourage me to stay up with her. So we text for about another hour and half before the texting stops.

The next day we start texting for about 2 hours (good back and forth conversation). After talking about our work schedules I ask her if she would like to skype meet the next day. She responds with a gif saying "ah nah". I was a little hurt by the rejection and by how she answered.

I figured this wasn't going anywhere and said something along the lines of: "it was nice talking with you, take care". She responds with saying that I'm a cool guy but I'm coming on too strong and that a lot if girls would feel the same way.

Anyways, I felt that asking for a casual coffee meet up wasn't very out of line. Hell, people on r/relationships encourage people to ask out strangers they've never met before to coffee. Was 4 hours of constant texting too soon to try to move things from texting to a potential future meeting and I even tried to back up and do a video meeting. I mean how can you really get to know someone with just a few pics and text?

Sorry for the wall of text. I'm new to online dating. Was I coming on too strong?
