Just talk to a woman but don't have it in your mind that you HAVE to ask her out, you HAVE to impress her, or you HAVE to date her. Just consider it all field work in becoming comfortable in general conversational skills.

The way it works is to show you are attracted to her. There's nothing sneaky about it, just be honest and up front, put it out there. Be confident about it. There's nothing wrong with letting a woman know you are attracted to a woman and want to be with them. You respect when they say no and watch for signs that they are not attracted to you. BUT . .if they are . . you will have to inch forward to more KINO then being closer, etc. Your assertiveness is always hampered by you not knowing how she feels about you. Everything you do will be working towards that solid answer of "yes". At that point, then its up to you to close the deal

Be you, and make moves. To some girls you will seem weird, and some will absolutely fall in love with you. Each woman has her preference, and the key to your assertiveness will be confidence.

Go after what you want or you'll never get it.

To be blunt, you need to realize that girls like dick. Right now you're stifled because you feel that girls are all nice and sweet and couldn't possibly want you to ram them hard doggystyle. They actually do. Women are sexual beings.

Purposefully be an asshole for a period of time and see the hidden value people don't tell you about. Practice setting boundaries when you do not like someone else's behavior. Meditate on anger. Lift weights.
Paradoxically after this phase you become much more grounded and more kind because you know you can whip out the anger if you need to, but you find usually you don't even need to.
If you never practice using your anger to set boundaries then when you are trying to take the high road and be kind you are often really being a supplicating "nice guy" who is afraid of literally any confrontation and is therefore woefully unattractive, and you don't even have the self awareness to know you are being a balless coward and not a good guy at all.
Men who are cowards generally are worthless to women sexually. Who wants a father who couldn't defend their children and them?

I feel like momentum is key. The best relationship I had where I was assertive began with me taking a books advice too seriously, but it worked. "What are you doing right now?" Her: "Nothing, why?" "I was going to go see Lost City of Z and grab food for my cheat day. I'm taking you with me, so get ready and I'll be there to pick you up in an hour."
It worked like a charm and the assertiveness flowed from that point.

If you are cute. I once made a similar move and it resulted in "I don't really know you and I am with my friends okay?"

Also a good practice is when women tell you to leave, you tell them to leave and that you aren't going anywhere. This is great assertiveness practice and you will often find that they become attracted to you as a result of your standing your ground. It's pretty incredible to witness.
Just ask yourself, "why do I need to leave?" Why shouldn't they leave?

If you want to be assertive in general, just know its you and only you that you have to be concerned about. I mean that in the most selfless way possible, too.
Being assertive is knowing what you want, and not letting people get in the way of that. Not taking anyone's shit or letting them walk all over you.

You should read "When I say no, I feel guilty" by Manuel J Smith.
It's a classic of self improvement, wrote in the 70s, at those time, assertiveness, was the trend.
