It's honestly practice. I mean, you don't have to practice this with exclusively women. It's gonna be awkward at first but eventually it will flow smooth.

Usually commenting on what someone is wearing, doing, etc. Is a good way to start a convo. You can build from there.

If she says "No" it is exactly the same result as not asking. Nothing more. The only issue is that some women who aren't interested in you will still give you some details and ignore you later as that is easier than straight no.
