As with every PUA strategy it's emulating behaviors on a surface level without explaining where these behaviors come from on a deeper level in order to apply it appropriately.

Letting her win you over is for her to qualify herself to you, what we need to do here is ask why that is? Well, it's a reality that some women do not have good intentions. Considering this it's wise for a guy to be somewhat skeptical about a woman until her intentions are made more clear.

If you do not hold back to let a woman qualify herself to you, then you are gullible and easily exploitable. The implication is that a guy like that will soon part with whatever resources he has, so what's left for her in you?

Some things she's qualifying herself to you for is meant to be given, if she deserves it, the qualifying she does is her making herself worthy of being given it. That's what you let her win, when she has deserved it. Shows that you do not give for free, you can't be exploited, something must also be given to you in order for you to give.

Not letting her win you every time is closely related, but this is about things that should NEVER be given to anyone, not even her. These are hard healthy boundaries you should have and not be willing to compromise on under any circumstances. She might test you on it and if you let her win, you will lose because you should have let her win that. Could be something as simple as asking something of you that she already knows in some way that you do not like, but you're giving up on yourself and go along with it to appease her, letting her win when telling her no is what really aligns with your values.

I personally don't think in terms of when to let her win or when to not let her win, I just know where I draw my line and what I need to see from her before I'll let her have me. So the game here is that she's trying to get something out of me without offering anything, I'll express my intention to not give her anything. What ends up happening in most cases is that her respect for me goes way up, she'll give or at least offer to give something and only then will I let her win. In the case she's trying to get something I'm just unwilling to give to anyone, then the answer is no regardless of how much she tries to qualify. At some point she'll back off and realize I'm rock solid on that, again, respect goes way up.

The most extreme cases I've seen is when women are straight up disrespectful in the way they're trying to get something out of me, then as I firmly deny it they turn around completely acting all nice and such towards me. The women who show such a big behavioral contrast in response to this are usually a bit on the crazier side though.

So you see, understanding the meaning and context behind these behaviors allow you effectively apply them if you can read the situation you're in. You can't just randomly and arbitrarily let her win some and lose some, that will just confuse everyone involved, because there is a game being played here and understanding the underlying meaning allows you to play it effectively.

You can't let her win 100% of the time either, because not everything should be won. You also can't let her lose 100% of the time, because obviously nobody wants to play a game they can't win.

Let her win if she gives you a win, let her lose if she tries to make you lose.
