I've been making the same damn rose for several years now. Never used to work for me because I'd make it and hand it off right away. Only after I started with PUA stuff I figured it out. It's not in the gift, it's how you give it to her. Now that it's made and in your hand, she has to convince you to give it to her. You know it's for her, she knows it's for her, but she's still got to work for it.

I saw this the other day too. I think it's a cool little trick, but I still wouldn't recommend it for most situations. The girl will appreciate that you made it for her (and if you follow it up well, that's awesome), but will she want to fuck you because of it? The general answer is no. The thing you do with the rose won't make her want to fuck you- it's your personality and other shit that will make her want to fuck you.

It's also best to avoid situations (like RedErin and DrNgo said) that make you appear to be a beta male. 99% of the time, this is one of those situations (it's very, very similar to sending flowers to a girl you're crushing on).

However, we all know Mystery likes to perform little tricks like this, and I think you can pull it off in a situation where it's like an after-thought, and you present it to a girl like it's an after-thought. She'll admire your skills, and she'll be pleasantly surprised when you give it to her (instead of some other girl who's with her), and if you do it right, she won't be thinking "He's just trying to win me over." If you're in a situation where she's thinking that, you'll be fucked, usually. And this situation is likely to create that perception, even if that wasn't your intention.

Like what DrNgo said, I've been in a million situations where a guy tries to show off (by being good at beer pong or other games, or by purposely trying to impress a girl), and I'll answer by purposely being terrible at the same thing he just did, but the girl respects me more because in her mind, I'm not trying as hard to get her approval. It's so much fun when you make that happen, and it's usually hilarious to the girl (especially if the guy doesn't know what he's doing). I couldn't even tell you the number of times I've imitated a guy trying hard to win at beer pong, but purposely did horrible just to show that I don't care, and the girl ended up with me instead of him. The guy who's less reactive usually "wins," and in this situation it's kind of like you're pre-reacting to the girl's potential response, if that makes sense.

I've never done it, so I can't say anything for sure, but I've definitely done similar shit and watched it blow up in my face. If you have a good mindset, I can see you getting a number, and nothing more. If you have a great mindset, I can see you fucking the girl- but not many guys have that capability.
