Well, it's now almost the end of February and I really want to write about the latest updates on HBBB and my other dating adventures, so I'm going to try to bring things up to speed.

So, at the end of my last report I mentioned that in the week that followed my first date F-Close with HBBootyBabe that I tried to keep my text and email game short, flirty and sexually charged. She texted me Saturday morning basically just saying hi and thanking me for showing her a nice time Friday night. I had some shopping and working out to do, so I didn't write her back til the afternoon with a short message saying I had fun meeting her. She replied back pretty quickly asking how my weekend was going. I told her "Busy, but awesome. I got laid last night!" She replied back with just a smiley face.

I hung out with friends that night. I've made it a policy in my life to ignore my phone when I'm socializing, a fact I mentioned to HBBB and she responded positively to. When I checked my phone after coming home I saw two texts from HBBB, one saying "Hey, what's up?" and the second around midnight saying "Just wanted you to know I'm thinking about you. Alone. In bed. Goodnight!" Sweet.

I texted her Sunday morning to tell her I would call her later that night. She texted back ok. I called her Sunday evening, she picked up. We had a nice short chat and I told her I wanted to see her again the next weekend. She said she wanted to see me too. If she lived in my city I would have had a specific plan to suggest, but I decided to offer to drive up to see her, while making it clear she was welcome to come to me again.

She mentioned her roommate would be gone Saturday night, so we could have her place to ourselves. I asked if she wanted to meet me somewhere, but she said she would just send me her address, we could meet at her place and play it by ear. Perfect, gotta love low maintenance girls. I made some small talk to maintain rapport while trying to keep a flirty tone, then made an excuse to get off the phone.

Kept the texting to a minimum during the week, maybe one during the day and one or two in the evening. The big exception was Thursday, when she mentioned that her apartment complex has a hot tub she doesn't take advantage of enough. I saw my opening and suggested we should remedy that situation. She agreed, and told me to bring my swimsuit. I asked her what swimsuit she was going to wear. She described a couple options. I "demanded" pics. She obliged, sending me a few pics of her in various bikinis. I of course picked the skimpiest one, the "cheeky" style of bottom. She told me she liked a man who knows what he wants and figured I'd pick that one.

In the nature of disclosure, I also was messaging my ex-girlfriend from undergrad that week through facebook, who I will call HBSexyEx. HBSexyEx is a grad student at a different university, two hours away from me. She told me she'd broken up with her boyfriend around New Years. I'll go into the details in another post. I also was contacted by an interesting girl late in the week on OKCupid who replied to something I'd sent the previous week. I told her I was "going out of town" that weekend (technically true) but set up a date with her the following Thursday.

This is getting a bit long, and I apologize. I drove to HBBB's place that Saturday night, just a week past our first date. She met me at her door in make-up and a cute tank top/jeans combo (We'd agreed we would do something casual). She gave me a beer and the brief tour and we ended up on her couch, chatting. I'm not exactly sure who kissed who, but there was no real hesitation, just chemistry. 45 minutes later we're naked in her bed, sexually released. I joked about how at that rate we would never make it out anywhere. She told me she didn't really care, she was happy just doing whatever with me. I told her I felt the same way.

We did hit the hot tub, but there were other people in it most of the time we were there so very little excitement went on besides light kino. Two beers later we went back inside, showered together, and went at it again.

After that second round she started dancing around "the talk", indirectly asking if I was seeing anyone else. I asked if that mattered to her. She said it wasn't a big deal, she was "just curious". I told her I liked her a lot and really enjoyed hanging out with her, but wasn't sure I was ready for that type of discussion. She quickly back-pedaled, assuring me it was totally cool if I was seeing anyone else. She mentioned she'd been messaging and texting a few other guys but had lost interest after meeting me.

I decided to open up about how I've been burned in the past by relationships and gotten too serious too quickly. I told her very honestly I thought she was smart, funny, sexy and totally awesome all around, but that I'm not comfortable rushing into a "relationship". She said she really appreciated my honesty, which was nice.

I ended up spending the night, but we didn't sleep much. What can I say, she "inspired" me and seemed determined to wear me out. I enjoyed all the perks of spending a night naked with a new partner including the surprise bonus of her cooking us breakfast in bed and turning that into "Breakfast and a BJ in bed". Score.

When faced with an attractive girl who loves sex and has a lot in common with me, the old me would have tried to lock her down quickly as a girlfriend. The new me has played it much cooler, building intimacy and enjoying time with her but not rushing our relationship status. The Thursday date with the other OKCupid girl turned out to be a bust; nice girl but no real IOI, we had a pleasant one hour coffee date where we mostly talked about politics (she brought them up) and said our goodbyes with only a half-hearted hug. HBBB and I have been alternating driving to see each other every weekend. She's started complaining that she wishes we could see more of each other. Since the first "talk" she hasn't really asked if I've been with anyone else...

... and I have. Two other someones in the past six weeks. I thought about doing separate posts, but whatever. The first is the aforementioned HBSexyEx. Long story short, she came to visit me, came on to me and "used" me as a rebound fling. The sex was always great between us. Again, I want to emphasize that I truly feel I made HBSexyEx want me by not being too available. I also hinted to her I was casually seeing someone else, and shouldn't have been shocked that only seemed to increase my value in her eyes. Like me she's super busy with school right now, but we tentatively planned on having a regular FWB thing once a month or so until one of us gets serious with someone else. She's actually coming down tonight! The short version: another okcupid girl, HB7. Strong IOI and kino on the first date, K-close/make-out session with serious LMR. Scheduled a second date that night for three days later. Cooked dinner at her place, more strong kino, f-close. She pushed really hard on "are you seeing anyone else?" the week following date #2 and didn't like my answer, and I haven't heard from her since.

I'll just close by saying I feel like I'm living a different life these days. I'm not worrying about finding "the one", I'm fare more secure, just having fun and enjoying meeting new women and taking life as it comes. There definitely will be another update after this weekend!
