On Tinder girls can afford to be way more picky. All the guys are there in her hand. In person it's just a few good looking guys and the rest are average. Also online, it is harder to tell what you are like as a person. Some people look like their photos but the behavior conveyed can be totally different because pictures can be staged.

Probably your are high status, but not that attractive. India seems to be highly dependent on caste so maybe that is part of the equation. Tinder is all about looks.

If you have a very good profile on tinder then you might match with 1-5% of all those women you swipe right on. If your profile is average then the match rate is usually closer to 0.3-0.5%. Just to set your expectations.
