Bring up two subjects relatively close to each other.

The spark you two have "you feel it too don't you?"
The fact that you strongly value emotional connection. "So that's what I like to look for and find you know..." ...

So, on an initial interaction and first date, still build up sexual tension, still flirt, still have her hot and bothered.. but don't actually fuck her the first date. Steal what's normally a girls thunder, and hold back.

That coupled with the conversation subjects should lead toward a clarity of what it is.. while still keeping her excited to be in bed with you.

If you find a girl that you think meets your criteria, and you want to pay her a compliment, compliment her non-physical qualities. tell you like her intelligence, sense of humor, confidence, kindness, style, grace, maturity, etc, and that this quality is hard to find/ important to you. This shows that you see her as more than a hot piece of ass.

Don't over do it though. Give her a real compliment, but don't lay it on too thick, that can signal a guy who's gotten overly infatuated.

Your answer sounds fine. Your honest answer sounds good. It emphasizes your short term happiness while also mentioning that you're not afraid of long-term commitment if the situation is right. A woman who's looking for something substantial will be very happy to hear it.

If you want to add a little more emphasis to the long-term, I would drop the word "sexual". Specifically mentioning sex that early indicates to her that sex is high on your priority list. If you're just looking to get laid, it's a good thing to mention, but it'll scare off some of the girls that are looking longer term.

tl;dr: Emphasizing that you want something long-term can make you seem desperate, but if you simply de-emphasize your short-term goals, you can get your point across.
