College Campus: Hey. How's your day? Street: Comment on style/walk/hairstyle. Then follow up with assumption of their job/major/hobbies. They are surprised and feel good if you get it right. If they say no, guess again until they tell you what they're really about.

I practiced conversation threading over openers bc they never remember how the conversation started anyway.

I don’t like rehearsed lines women see right through them. Try to stay in grounded in believing that you are good enough as you are.

My favorite opener is "Hi" then talk to her like a normal human fucking being, with some intent if you think shes hot.

The only thing you SHOULD rehearse or get good with over time is interesting stories that you can inject into the conversation should the topic relate to it or if you introduce a new topic.

I think most on seddit just go with 'hi, i'm XXX' basically? Although, that would be a weird opener in some countries, I guess it's OK in the US. UK girls for example find this the weirdest opener lol (I gave it a damn good run after watching Juliens 'pimp' product for inspiration).

I tend to like observational/situational openers

What would you say is your best openers?

Openers or conversation content in general, come from observation. Coaches like David Wygant lay this out rather well. To sum up, you have a bunch of data in front of you that you could be using to connect with people and jump into their heads:

Openers:
- What are they doing?
- What are they talking about?
- What expressions do they have on their face?
General conversation:
- What have they just said? Take that and follow up to get at the emotion or motivation behind it.
  - Emotion: How did they feel about the topic they're talking about? Why? And so on.
  - Motivation: Why did they do something they talked about doing?

The best opener is one that's tailor made to the moment, not one you're shoehorning into the situation that's going to be an interruption of whatever they are currently doing/thinking about/etc.
