It really is that simple. Ask at any point that you think you're "in."

My favorite way to close is this. I give her a specific day and time to hang out.

"Thursday. 8 pm. There's this place on the lower east side called Winebar. Let's grab a drink."

Since it's a bit of a pull to ask her out for a drink, I usually throw in some push right afterward.

"But you have to promise not to get me drunk and take advantage of me."

This is the reason I offer a specific time instead of just saying, "Let's grab a drink next week."

It gives her a chance to say No. I want her to say No if she's not interested. I don't need any more flakey numbers in my phone.

If she's not interested in me, she'll say, "I'm busy."

If she's interested but is actually truly busy on Thursday, she'll suggest another time or say something like, "I can't make it thursday, but let's figure something else out."

Once she agrees to hang out, then getting her phone number is almost a given. It's not awkward or weird.

When you're leaving, just turn to her and ask for it like it is expected. "hey, let me get your number." not a question. Wait 10 minutes, text her and tell her you had a great time, it was nice meeting her, blah blah. She replies, acknowledge content of text and say you look forward to seeing her again.

There's no such a thing as # close.

This is how it works best: you start talking with someone, you engage them in the conversation, create attraction, escalate, then... you have to go, with whatever plausibile excuse. If there's enough mutual attraction, you'll both genuinely wanted to continue the conversation / getting to know more of each other etc...... that comes natural to find a way to do so.

The actual logistics are endless, from Here, put your phone # on my phone to Let me put my number on your phone or .... the how is only a technicality, the (creating the) why is what seduction is all about.

Realize what the #close really is: continuing the interaction at a later time.

That's it. It is a formality needed because you both have to go somewhere else in the mean time.

If you guys are both starting down the path of a romantic relationship, then you'll need to keep in touch. That's it, don't complicate it.

You want to time-bridge, which is basically remove the time you guys are apart in her mind before your next interaction. You can google this, but briefly tell her what type of date you'll go on and get her to enthusiastically buy into that future plan. Then getting the number is just how you are going to get in touch for your date you have already both agreed to.

It sounds to me like you aren't framing the interaction in a romantic / sexual way, because if you were then the # should come naturally. It sounds like you are just being a random guy they meet rather than their next lover.

I just ask for the number, its only a big deal if you think it is a big deal. To make it a good number though, I find I have to stay with them for another 15-20 minutes. Its like cuddling after sex.
