They're doing self help now because there's more money in it. That and they'll never admit they're shaken up by media outrage over pickup. Owen has always preached mainstream society wasn't built to handle nuance or human nature.

The brand name seems to be incredibly popular but there are lots of other great coaches and products out there. Many of them are former RSD students and coaches who have taken the good things they learned and added enhancements.

Let me tell you the story:

At the beginning of october the bbc released an Panorama investigation showing british pickup teachers and the whole cuture and making it look pretty bad. ( https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m00095v6 )

What followed was that youtube deleted the channels of some british pickup-artist that had a lot of infield in there videos. https://www.reddit.com/r/seduction/comments/deh2ul/youtube_terminates_addy_agame_and_street/

So the RSD folks reacted fast and deleted all of there politically-incorrect videos to not have there channels deleted.

I think they didn't have much of an other choice.

Owen Cook, aka RSDTyler (now just Tyler), the co-founder of RSD is already working on a new platform to host the old pickup-content. He mentioned it a couple of times on his instagram and on his recent youtube videos as a comment.

Tyler also mentioned it in the past years that he wants to move the company towards self-help, when he turns 40 (which was this year).

A lot of controvercy i guess, can ask one of my friends, he is balls deep in RSD. Personally i dont really follow them.

How many times are people going to ask this question?

This has been happening for almost a year, and was pretty much initiated by Juliengate. To be frank, pickup reached an apex a long time ago, in both knowledge base and mainstream notoriety. Everything there is to talk about has been discussed ad nauseum, so you're pretty much going to run into coaches talking about the same info someone already talked about 15 years ago. It doesn't that RSD, along with the pickup community in general, got too big for its own good. Pickup always succeeded by being an underground community, and that's where it will need to go back to in order to survive.

The end of RSD is not the end of the community, or game in general. Everyone needs to stop pedastalizing them as some sort of Messiah of game, and remember that the community is built off of what people put into it, be it advice, field reports, etc.
