I have recently been reading "A Thousand Tiny Failures" by Tony Newton. One of the paragraphs in it says:

"Try walking up to a group of girls and saying, "What's up sluts!?" and see what happens. Try it ten times with positive energy, not hateful like, and i guarantee that at least eight of those attempts will elicit positive reactions. They will laugh. I know because I've done it many times."

What do you guys think of this? I'm in the UK and after reading that the girls here must take the word much more serious than in the US/Canada (where the author is). Granted - I have not tried this approach but myself and others from here believe it will not get a positive response and they would take serious offense to it.
