She would have flaked on you anyway so getting her number wouldn't have made a difference. Try not to directly ask for numbers, just say something like "so how can we keep in touch?".

I think this is a good indication that she is in a relationship or your game isn't strong enough. If a girl is afraid to give out her number, then you didn't do something right. I would be a bit more pushy to see if you can get it (it's worked for me in the past) or just give her your number, but I doubt you'll ever hear from her.

Main thing to take away from this is you need to up your attraction and flirting. You need to get to the point where she will be so excited you asked for her number.

At this point, I tend to jokingly congratulate them on being the guy in the relationship and hand it over.

Generally, they will not call unless drunk on New Year's, at which point you get an awkward spate of dials. This is TOTALLY NOT EXPERIENCE TALKING, THIS IS JEFF.

Give it to her. What the fuck do you have to lose? Personally, I love being in control of the situation, making him wait around for MY text/call. It's not a straight-up rejection, so don't see it as such. She could be a winner. Trust me.

At this point I would just cut my losses and give her my number. I doubt you can turn it around without being pushy but maybe you can pull it off.

Maybe you can tease her about being scared to give her number and joke about stalking her. You can also turn it around and tell her you have a no #sharing policy due to a stalker incident a while ago and complement her on her careful nature. Another option is to give an excuse to not give her your number and promise you won't stalk her in a joking way.

Just some ideas that might work.

Give it to her, make a joke or tease her about it somehow, go home and think "I'm not expecting her to call, but if she does, that's nice".

Just give her your number... That's what I do for all situations.

I give her my number, if she is interested, she will call/text/contact. If she is not interested, she won't. And I continue out there meeting new people and ladies.

But, when I give her number, I'll put in my name and something random to make it different (like Ryan Terminator) and sometimes I'll take a pic and link it to her number (that's if I'm not too drunk).

This act prevents me from blowing up her phone. In addition, she has come to me, therefore giving me the power of the next move.
