• I met her at a dinner party with friends. We talked for ~1 hour about our jobs.
  • We went to a dive bar and watched the philly's lose. We talked for another hour.
  • Got her to leave the bar with me at ~1:45am by saying: "Hey, so you want to get some tacos now? I know a place." (It was relevant to the conversation.)
  • En route I asked if she wanted to see my apartment. We went there instead of getting tacos. My apartment was a mess because I had dirty dishes and computer equipment everywhere (oops). We talked ~20 minutes about my apartment, how messy it was, where I could put a couch if I bought one, etc.
  • Then she says "alright, I should be getting home. I need to see my dog". I asked for a kiss and she said/acted like it was too soon/we didn't know each other enough. I then said "at least can I get your number?" which she was happy to provide.
  • I asked for a kiss again and failed, then walked her out to the street where she got a cab.
  • End scene.

Did I do anything wrong? Shouldn't I have at least gotten a kiss? I am 27, she is 32. Did I move too fast? Too slow? I am way out of the loop on this stuff because I just got out of a 5 year relationship 3 months ago and don't know how this is supposed to go down.

Thanks!

PS. And I should probably be able to figure this out on my own, but when should I text her? Is a week too long? Should the nature of the text just be like

"Hey, how's your dog?"

or more like

"Hey, want to get dinner tomorrow?"
