This is the kind of post that might piss everyone off, myself included, because I've been browsing this subreddit for about a year now and I've learned a lot of valuable skills in relating to people in general. And I find that despite what I've learned, I have real trouble applying it, and that's what I'm looking for suggestions on.

Short version, I'm sick of my life as the way it is. I'm interesting, charming, handsome and reasonably athletic - I have a million reasons to actually be confident when I walk into a room, and I've learned over the years to carry myself a lot differently as a man, and yet my biggest hurdle still is going out and meeting people. I'm terrified of looking like a loser in front of women, and because of that fear I look like a loser in front of women.

I find that my life in a relationship sense is beginning to stagnate. I see attractive, vibrant women all around me, and the only ones I ever attract/sleep with are the reasonably pretty but insecure ones who are looking for a good shag and a confidence boost. That's not enough for me anymore. I know what I want in a woman, I see lots all around me that fit the mold, and I possess neither the ability to walk up and engage them nor the social skills to hold their interest for long.

I've identified a few habits in my life that I can change to improve the vibe I give off in social situations (keeping alcohol and weed to a minimum and only in certain situations, rigorously taking care of my body and mind, etc.), but I wondered if anyone had any suggestions in just taking that big leap and changing your life. I'm 30 years old, and I sincerely do have a lot to offer the right woman - I'm not down on myself or depressed about that. I just need to know how to flip that switch, because it's starting to suck the life out of me. Thanks for any comments you have, feedback is always appreciated.
