Why does texting fizzle out?

I never get the idea of “text game”. It’s borderline weird - correct me if I’m wrong- where I think some people wanna have the sexual interaction thru texting (you know, sex chat etc). Maybe I’m wrong?

To me texting is a just means or a passage to physically connect to her. So I would assume if it fizzles out: the guy probably just ran around in the text game without taking it to real physical life, either by being too chatty or taking too long.

But of course there are some other variables depending on the situation; like right now I’m texting back and forth with 3 women, so I kinda get how it is from women’s POV as it’s a norm for them to rotate multiple guys. It’s really time consuming to treat texting like a real life convo. Just make it simple and short, and always direct it to the next meetup where the real game is.

Texting should only be used to make plans, not form connections. Get off your phone and make your witty comments or smooth moves to her face.

My hypothesis is that texting is a connection based more on dopamine than oxytocin, and so when the dopamine runs out, she stops being motivated to keep on texting, it fizzles out.

Using texting only for planning dates doesn't exhaust her reward system and so it's more effective and sustainable.

Guys that run text game may be fighting an uphill battle to keep her releasing dopamine, but at some point her receptors may downregulate and so she will feel less and less motivated to text, even if his text routines are masterfully crafted to perfection.

In person, oxytocin gets released and this creates a way stronger bond than texting

Texting can fizzle out for several reasons.

Boring. A lot of guys don’t inject any flirting or playfulness into their text.
Formal. Guys text too formally. Perfect grammar and spelling. Use emojis sparingly and let them stand on their own.
Investing too much and responding too quickly. Long messages that aren’t going anywhere are unattractive. It signals that you might not have any options. Respond too quickly is the same thing. Give her a chance to double and triple text you.
Asking her out too much. You want there to be some text vibing before asking her out again. You don’t want to appear too desperate to meet up.
Not injecting enough audio or videos. If done correctly an audio message or video can spike attraction significantly compared to a regular text.
Not using time constraints on invitations. There needs to be a sense of urgency.

As others have said, ultimately texting is just a bridge to a meetup. But it must be done properly. It is an art rather than a science.

During texting, there is a "window of opportunity" to set up the date. Talking too long and missing this window often fizzles things out. See my post on texting, should be applicable to women as well.

When there's more excitement than depth in a connection it fades when the excitement has passed. When there's too much action and not enough anticipation it takes the passion out of the conversation.
