It's not that inefficient for LTRs. One of the easiest ways to get into an LTR is to sleep w/the person.

The answer lies in your question - PUA could be inefficient for building LTRs but not everyone wants LTRs, isn't it? It's a quick and easy way, to follow a set formula from A to B to C to have a chance to fornicate and that's what the person practicing PUA tactics might want.

Because not everyone wants a long term relationsship. Especially guys and girls below 30 which should be the majority of this sub.

Also, what is PUA even by your definition? I, for example, am not into any concrete concept that is popular within the PUA community, but I have my own concepts and tactics.

Not all seduction techniques are PUA stuff. There is more than one system, and there are much better ones out there.
