I gave up on Tinder. 2 times. I managed to get numbers in less than 10 messages but it did not matter at all. I came up with a "date", got their number but I never actually met a chick of Tinder.

It's ridiculous. I just gave up. Once I got their number it was game over or something.

I know what you mean. I hate texting also. Real life conversations are easy for me, so that is why I tried to set up something in less than 10 messages.

My openers worked like 99 out of 100 times. I have heard "wow that is the best thing I have got on Tinder" a lot of times. I've heard "you must be a fun person to be with" a lot of times.

Yet, nothing.

Tinder is a shitty shithole that is boiling over with cognitive dissonance. It was shitty when I started in July 2014, but I still hooked up with a few girls - a couple one night stands and one FWB... Definitely less attractive than the girls I've gotten through any other avenue, but at least it was something.

But by November or so, Tinder became impossible. Seemingly no one actually looking to meet up, and the quality of girls got lower and lower. This was after half a year of hitting the gym 3-5x/week and eating right for the first time in my life, plus I read models, got into all this seduction shit, and if everything outside Tinder was any indication, I had really improved my overall game and looks. I hate when people claim "X or Y is shit now", but I think I joined Tonder right around the turning point. Been in a relationship since the spring so I'm not 100% up to date on Tinder, but it seems doubtful that it would be able to reverse the overall decline. If you're a girl or a really good looking guy looking for an easy lay, Tinder seems like a great resource. But you need to seriously stand out on looks/pics to get anywhere, and even then, SO many of the girls are on there with little to no intent of actually meeting.

TL;DR: Tinder sucks, increasingly so. Aside from working on your text game (and not even to the point of arranging a meeting), it has very little use as a learning tool and the results you get have almost no external validity.

Get off the app and on to the phone ASAP. If she says she has to know you better, talking on the phone is the way to know you better. If she won't, she just wants attention and entertainment through texting so forget her.

Girls on tinder know the deal. It's not her first rodeo and there's a high likely hood shes already has 100 + matches.

I think you did good.

She just isn't ready to give you her number. Either try creating a better rapport or stop wasting your time.

I've been turned down for numbers on tinder plenty but often time if things keep going smooth the girl will just offer her number later unprovoked in my experience. Most recently a girl did this and she told me to text her with her number about 24 hours after the first time I asked. (But we were having a really good conversation the entire time basically). Ended up having 6 dates/meet ups/whatever before we broke it off due to wanting different things.

My advice: if you like talking to her keep talking to her a little. If things keep going well then ask again, and if she's just not biting then say you're not looking for something that doesn't move past tinder texts.
