I have been doing a lot of reading on this subreddit and I see a common thread: a lot you guys are afraid of facing rejection head-on. By that I mean that you try to do things to protect your ego and not get the full in-your-face rejection. Here are some examples of stuff like this:

- Giving her your number instead of getting hers.

- Getting her social media instead of her phone number

- Approaching her with some bullshit excuse instead of to show interest

- Asking her to hang out but not making clear why

And so forth.

As the man, it is your job to wade into the belly of the beast and face rejection. It's not her job. Women want confident men because confidence subconsciously communicates that you can face any challenge and protect her when the bad guys come to rob and pillage the village. And women even make themselves a challenge to "test" if you have the courage. In other words, they purposely act bitchy or cold to see if you can maintain your confidence, which is why you need to maintain your frame and have patience. If you are too afraid to ask her out or get her phone number, then how are you going to slay the enemy?

I know some of you will respond by saying "but I don't want to look too needy/creepy." Yes, good point. Women are turned off by guys that are too aggressive or needy. But there is a way of showing interest and not being creepy. It goes like this: you enjoy yourself, she builds attraction to you, and when she has built enough to want to hang out with you, you ask her for her phone number, or on a date, etc... If you ask her too early she will say "no" because she will not have given enough of a fuck about you by then. So the key is patience. But once she is emotionally invested in enough, then you must take decisive action or else you will look like a pussy.

Women rarely have the courage to approach men they are interested in, so you need to do it. Don't take that as a burden - take that as a compliment. You can do something they can't.
