I'm losing control of my life and marriage. I just don't have the strength to end it. I keep hoping she's going to wake up and see I'm gone and it will be too late for us. Not that I would hurt myself but for the past 7 months I feel like I have been beating my head against a concrete wall to hopefully get an idea on what to do next. I have given flowers for no reason, taken her shopping for clothes and things for herself or the house and she doesn't want to do anything.

I'm basically at a dead end in more ways than one.

Thank you for allowing me to vent. I just would really like to fix this but I think I'm stupid and like to be emotionally abused.

I guess another question is. I'm disabled for post 20 years with a busted back in several places.

What happens with someone like me. I have nothing anymore.

I love myself. I can't get her to love me back so my love is a bucket of trash. I'm being hard on myself but could be way worse how angry I could get off I let myself get angry.

I'm lost and don't know where to turn. My kids are demanding I get a divorce. But as with the first reply earlier I have wedge myself between a rock and a hard spot. Grew up thinking one woman for life and it's a groin kick trying to do the right or wrong thing.

I think I should say heck with it but the idea is nothing is perfect and I just have to deal with the cards I have.

Than like now my mind is blank. No emotions. Not angry at her. Maybe more angry with myself but don't know why I should hate myself because I can't do what's right or what is needed from me to her.

I have seen nearly a dozen therapist and one couples therapist. She decided we didn't need it couple therapy and things have slowly turned back to "I have a roommate not a wife"whole deal.

I don't know what I'm looking for. Maybe just venting it and reading it back to myself might help. I appreciate your time you wasted reading my boring life.

Going through a divorce after 35 years. After years and years of saying WTF? all of a sudden everything will make sense and there will be no going back. Get help. I suggest a therapist that offers EMDR. At the end of the day, there is nothing magical about her. You are the problem in that you've fooled yourself into believing she is the one and only for you.

Fix. Yourself.
