He's creepy & i'm pretty sure is fetishizing Lauren as a black woman. Any man that enthusiastic about marrying a stranger doesn't see women as human. There's a reason all the women are getting cold feet on the show while the men stay totally determined to seal the deal.

The reason I feel he may be fetishizing her is because he said his last serious relationship was also with a black woman. Like Lauren said a few times throughout the episodes depending on where you live you often have to go out of your way to date outside your race. I know he used to be a rapper so I just worry he may have a boner for black culture and wants a black woman as his trophy prize. Definitely worries me a bit. But who knows, maybe he's a great guy. I don't really trust any of the men on the show though. I think the entire series is bizarre lol. All these people have issues imo.

I didn't know they were all from atlanta no. Lauren says over and over she's never dated a white man cause there's been little opportunity to do so so I assume Atlanta is as racially segregated as every other city in the U.S.

That wasn't my impression. She makes it sound like she hasn't dated a white man cause she doesn't interact with them often. She even said on the finale she wouldn't have ever even met a guy like Cameron if it wasnt for the show. I've never lived in Atlanta but having lived in both Chicago & NYC and seeing how segregated even our most racially diverse cities are I see no reason to believe Atlanta would be any different.

That's good to hear. I'm not saying anything is definitively true I just am suspicious of all men and especially white men who date primarily one race outside of their own cause I'm left to wonder if they are fetishizing this aspect of them since sadly this is not uncommon. I hope I'm wrong of course. The entire show is strange to me really. All the men leave a bad taste in my mouth so maybe I'm just piling on the animosity lol.

Nothing of course. There are just many men and white men especially who fetishize women for their race so when I see a white man primarily dating in one racial demographic I begin to wonder if he is one of these types. Sadly theyre not uncommon.
