She was Emma fucking Peel in the U.K. show, The Avengers...which has nothing to do with the hero film with the Hulk. Thor and Iron Man.

It was shot in the '60s, I think, and they played the reruns on the A&E channel during the '90s and 2000's. It was such a mod show. She wore cat suits and fucking beat guys up with judo and was smarter than anyone else. Total badass. She was also classy as hell. I remember she used to host a show that maybe was called Mystery Theater on PBS. She'd host and was mesmerizing with her perfectly calibrated tone and demeanor.

Damn. Emma Peel's gone. I loved her.
