Eh, from what i can tell in the end there really are only two types of MGTOWs, those who are single because their situation are unfavorable for them (i.e poor marriage climate, personal reasons, etc.), and then there are those who simply find that they'd rather focus on themselves over women, even if the marriage laws were to change. I personally find myself in the latter as i couldn't care if "went back to the good times" because even if the laws were changed it wouldn't change female nature, they still would only love me due to what i could provide for them, i'd still have to work much harder to support a wife and kids, i'd still have to listen to nagging and go to social events and etc. etc. because there would still be peers that would instantly take the side of the woman. All this for a few babies and a couple plates of food a day, and having a clean house (which are almost always cluttered with a woman's garbage anyway). Essentially i'd be trading in my freedom for what amounts to a few hours of labor a week on the part of my wife. To me the juice just isn't worth the squeeze, even after I "win", and for the most part most men who think that after big government steps out, or divorce laws are fixed that marriage will be like a king living in castle are sadly mistaken. I see what marriage does to man, even in "good" one, their back hunched from years of unnecessary work, eyes glazed over from years physiological torment in the form of nagging, pointless stale conversations, and yet still patting themselves on the back for essentially being a back prop to their family.
