I don't think it's that. I think women are evolved to be sexually attracted to extremely low-investment men who don't settle down and especially don't start families. These men don't have to provide for women or children and are free to roam widely. They only have to support themselves. This frees up an enormous amount of time and resources, and allows these men to roam the land looking for easy pussy. Often married pussy.
While a beta will only have children from one woman and therefore needs to wait about 4 years between children, the good looking bad boy can have hundreds of children that cucked betas will raise. So he gets hundreds of children and the beta gets like 5 or 6 if he's lucky, and not all of them his in all probability.
And it's because of the greater evolutionary success of the good looking bad boy types that women go for them. It isn't their brain doing the thinking, it's the multi-generational brain of genetics. Or possibly the lizard brain. Or both. Because the female biological imperative is only getting warmed up with "have as many surviving children as possible". What it's really optimised around is trying to get as many grandchildren as possible. And the easiest way to do that is to reproduce with sexy, anti-social men and hope you get some sexy, anti-social sons. Because then you could win big.
This "validation" excuse is just hamstering. Because women don't understand themselves.

I think this is the biggest mistake guys make - assuming that giving validation or being "nice" gets you anywhere..."if she knows me better, she'll love me". Wrong. Yes stronglifts 5 x 5 look it up its free too, i train at home got a home gym squat rack bench etc.
I been seeing this sport doctor for a while now had terrible back pain he fixed me up.
He got me started on stronglifts last year, after 6 months of not seeing him he said damn your posture is insane now.
Squat deadlifts standing press are all amazing for core. Add bench press for upper body chest and bent rows for back mass.
All you need. 3 times per week.
