I'm hearing that the feminists and women of South Korea are unhappy about this, claiming that it's against women's rights and agency. Furthermore, they are more upset about what this could lead to in the future "against" women regarding other areas in society and law.

What the women in South Korea are feeling about this is the same feeling that men have in the West every time their lawmakers create a new policies/law based on feminism ideology that blatantly discriminate against men and advantages women.

Good on South Korea for implementing egalitarianism.

How would they police women-only parking spaces? That would mean they'd have to be able to define "woman".

I am for equality, so it's good that these spaces are being made into family spots.

They are converting them into "family spots" for pregnant women and people traveling with children. This of course is going to still disproportionately advantage women, but now inclusive of other people who need more protection. Pregnant women can certainly benefit from being closer to the building entrance, and children are probably more likely to be hit by cars in a busy parking lot than women raped by strangers.

Beyond that, making these spots less woman-specific makes sense anyways in a world where anyone can now identify as a woman. It also makes sense in a world where women do not want to be perceived as the "weaker sex". Feminists should concede these points and even applaud the extra protection now available to more vulnerable populations. There may be pushback regardless, as there's a strong anti-family element among the feminist ranks due to the overrepresentation of women who categorically reject relationships with men via an incel-like reaction to their own failure to attract them.
