How should we deal with women's issues?

society already overwhelmingly focuses on women's issues, you have probably heard of the gender wage gap a million times, but have never heard the 93% of workplace deaths are men. we have so many breast cancer fundraisers that its like every month is breast cancer awareness month. there are tonnes and tonnes of special programs to help women, but nothing to help men.

By leaving women out of it mostly. (does not mean doing nothing) Given it's not the same as the feministic solution, it's pretty much guaranteed feminists oppose it. There are plenty of things that benefit women, or even fix their issues by changing things for men.

It's sufficient simply to avoid discriminating against women's rights. The feminist lobby fights exclusively for women, and is much stronger than we are at the moment.

This is the men's rights movement, and men's issues are what we should concentrate on.

As important as men's issues are, if we are the true name of equality, should we not be advocating women's issues as well?

No.

Feminism came into a society that had no gender equality movement. As a sole actor, it needed to promote equality for both genders to be a true equality movement, and it often claimed to do so - but it didn't, and still doesn't, and in fact actively works against men in some ways. Hence the need for the MRM.

The MRM came into a society that already had feminism looking out for women. Women's issues don't need to be a part of the MRM because they're already being taken care of.

It's not a double standard, it's two distinctly different circumstances.

Now, if mainstream feminism ever reforms itself to the point where it is actually looking out for both genders and not just pretending to to deflect criticism, feel free to come back and ask this again.

We should not harm female issues but I do not think we need to actively campaign for them. Don't they have enough campaigners?

i think not, feminism focuses on women but pretends to be about equality. this is a movement focused on mens issues so there is no need to look at the elements affecting women.

yes there times when it seems there is a sentiment against women around here.

And unfortunately those occasions are the only time critics are listening. Truthfully I think the best approach is to just not mention women that much

With the truth, backed by evidence. Business as usual. And no, we aren't doing the same as feminists. We don't campaign against women's issues. And feminism, for its part, isn't dealing with women's issues, but making a mess of them, instead.
