I don't know who does it more, but I suspect it's pretty similar.

But it's considered a gift when women do it to men, and a criminal offence when the reverse happens.

I'm a bartender at a local bar, well-known and apparently attractive. Whenever I get a weekend night off I go out drinking with my gf, but always run into women who want to buy me shots, dance with me, etc. On Halloween alone I was kissed on the cheek twice, "catcalled" countless times, and one catcaller came back after I turned away to pinch my ass.

I have women getting drunk and then asking me to take them home. I've had brides and bridesmaids (any bartender, male and female, hates bridesmaids with a passion) come behind the bar trying to grind on me or unbutton my shirt. The servers are predominantly female and all jokingly refer to me as a "ho", even though I don't actually encourage or condone any of this behavior. Pisses my gf off more than me, but we all know how it'd be if the sexes were reversed.

I discuss this sometimes with a regular of mine, a man about 60 years old who defends traditionalism. He insists it's just a man's job, and that it is unacceptable for men to behave the same way with women. Pisses me off.

PS: I witnessed an extraordinarily large and very well muscled man reach and out grab a breast at a local bar, and the three bouncers, all large men themselves, clearly saw that this guy knew what he was doing in a fight and was going to be a huge handful, so they called the cops and he got beat down by 5-6 people at once. I was standing next to him at the bar ordering a drink when it went down, and he dared the bouncers to do something.

Not these days, but back when I was a teen/early 20-year-old I repeatedly had my ass slapped, nipples pinched, and on three different occasions my sac cupped. All out of the blue by girls I wasn't interested in. To be honest it didn't bother me much -- I was more concerned with the possibility of getting in fights with other males. Which hurts. A lot.

A couple of things that do bother me in retrospect (at the time I was too young and stupid to even realize what was going on) -- when my T-ball coach called me on the phone and asked me if I had ever had an erection, and when a female high school teacher used to repeatedly slap me in the ass.

I suspect that, like DV and pedophilia, female/male sexual harassment is probably close to par. Men just don't talk about it.

It MAY have happened when I was a kid and I was sledding. Its hard to tell because she also could have been trying to push me down the hill faster, using my butt as the point of contact. I remember feeling uncomfortable but not devastated or anything. Heck maybe she actually was just playing and helping me go faster. I have no idea. the contact lasted a while, she managed it down most of the hill. I was at most 14 probably younger she was probably in her early 20s or late teens, and I was not one of those boys who looked like an adult at that age. I did not really know her, she was a friend of a neighbor or something. Not sure if that tips the odds of what happened one way or the other.

Regularly, when I worked the door. Less so when I was a patron but it happened occasionally. By far the most grope-y job I ever had was when I used to peddle drunk tourists around town in a pedicab. I guess alcohol + lyrca-clad tour guide's powerful glutes working furiously to haul half a tonne of human and bike up a 8% grade = free touches.

We're supposed to enjoy it, though... so it's all okay, right?
