African Americans, blacks, Hispanics, and other minorities are often underprivileged by comparison to their white counterparts (do you really need me to bring the statistics here? Really?). Why shouldn't he reach out to those that are in more need?

Look at your local university. Tell me what percentage of the resident students are minorities (exclude foreigners and out of state students).

Compare that number to the percentage of minorities in your community.

I commend him for contributing to solving a problem. Shame on you for thinking that his contribution is a problem in itself.

Females make up 57% of college students. Why do they need even more of a "leg up"?

I have no problem with where he chose to invest the money , I do however have a problem with him winning the prize in the first place. He did exactly NOTHING to deserve it.

I am not a fan of black only scholarships. Nor am I fan of women only scholarships. In fact I find the both ideas rather offensive.

Its not ok to discriminate by race or gender in this country, unless you are favoring the woman or the non-white.

Am I glad that some people will go to college thanks to this? Certainly. Do I think that the funds should be open to everyone? Absolutely.

Women have every advantage in this world, especially in places like Afghanistan where Western feminists have long fought for “equality” (read: female supremacy) and established organizations to impose their feminist agenda on society. Young Afghani men, meanwhile, are being pressured into taking up arms and giving their lives; of the untold tens of thousands of soldiers and irregulars killed in battle on every side, the vast majority have been men. It’s men’s groups, not women’s, that need the President’s attention and charity.
