It is easier for these folks to just lump people together by sex -- when it favors the preferred group. Otherwise, they realize what a dumb, unjust, idea that is.

How about we also look at those MALE criminals who also might benefit from something other than months or years behind bars.

If you think this is unacceptable, write to their 'equalities' minister at http://www.lynnefeatherstone.org/contact and the main party at https://www.libdems.org.uk/contact.aspx letting them know. It might be interesting to let them know how many men suffer from DV and how many women are the perpetrators (about equal, but women in younger generations are becoming more violent), and how men make up the majority, about 70% of non-reciprocal partner violence (so why is it only for women?). And what plans there are to help victims of false allegations.

"If they have retracted their evidence against their partner because of fear and intimidation" 1. The evidence of intimidation needs to be established. 2. They should be prosecuted for false allegations if the falsehood of those allegations can be proven beyond a reasonable doubt. If they make further allegations of intimidation and those can also be proven false to the same standard, they should be prosecuted for that as well.

To be accurate, they want female criminals to generally go unimprisoned, not unpunished. However, I think it's clear that these non-custodial punishments will generally be far preferable (to the offender, given the choice) than imprisonment.

I think if I ever commit a crime and go to prison for it I'm going to declare myself to be a man trapped in a woman's body and perhaps arrange a sex change operation (delayed until the last possible moment and then cancelled). In fact all criminals should do this.

I wonder if they'd throw people back in prison towards the end of their sentence after they cancel their operations?

It would be a good idea to use the same tactics for getting elected in areas where they are all women shortlists.
