I can't remember where I heard this but it seems to apply here. "Why are academic disagreements so fierce, because the stakes are so small."

I had only vaguely heard of TAM before today. I think I saw something posted in a hippie coffee shop in Seattle. While TF sounds rational and PZ looks like an ignorant jerk in his reply, I couldn't possibly care about either of them. Outside of their "rational though"/Atheist community does anyone know who these people are?

Not really interested - I have never taken this Myers clown seriously as the first time i became aware of his existence was when he referred to male circumcision as a "booboo."
