Over what time scale would you expect such a theory to change? But, ya, if you read The Mystery Method (2007) you'll see, comparitively, there's a lot less emphasis on structured or prescripted seduction, canned lines, etc. in TRP. Mark Manson's Models (2011) is a completely different approach (it's been approvingly linked to in TRP - although Manson wouldn't identify as a manosphere blogger).

Both Roosh and Fourney have criticized "keyboard-warrior" game theorizing without doing real-world approaches. There's lots of disagreement in the 'sphere, which is usually a sign of health in a community.

At the same time, there is something to what you say - I basically scan the posts on TRP nowadays without reading much because it's mostly the same basic stuff all the time.

Don't worry - I'm sure tomorrow someone is going to figure out the secret is to buy women free drinks ;)

Well why don't we survey a bit of TRP? It's bound to be a biased survey, because only certain type of people will respond, and there's bound to be plenty of trolls but I think you could at least disprove the "handful of manosphere bloggers" idea.

I consider myself mostly redpill, although I have myself tagged as purple pill since I only agree with redpill at surface level, I haven't really read everything in the sidebar, and I don't quite know how literally everything should be taken. In my interpretation of it, phrases like "Women are incapable of love in the way men understand it" is not meant to be taken as "Women are heartless bitches who can't love", but rather "The way men understand love is different from how women understand love, and men shouldn't expect men's type of love from women"

Anyway, about myself, I'm 22, mostly a loner, neckbeard, depressed, 6"2', somewhere between 180-220lbs depending on the time of year, but I've also done some cool non-nerdy shit like ride a bicycle across the country. I've had two sexual partners, and hundreds of attempts at dating. And I agree with the idea that redpill is the end product of countless observations. From my hundreds of attemtps at dating, I was certainly bluepill for all of them. I put women on a pedestal, I tried to be nice to them, I paid for the meal, I was a total gentleman. But all of them were repulsed by me, and I couldn't understand why. My friends and family all thought I was a smart guy who was enjoyable to talk to, I was attractive and in shape, and my life was successful. But it was my attitude toward women that was driving them away.

The two women that I did end up sleeping with were two that I wasn't trying with at all. I honestly didn't give the first flying fuck about them. I didn't want women in my life at that point really, and was a bit angry at women as a whole for denying me time after time despite my most sincere attempts at being a nice person.

And there were many other women who I had later realized were sexually attracted to me, many of them I didn't notice because they just weren't "on my radar" for being way out of my league. And that's probably why they liked me. I'd consider myself about a 6 on a good day, but there were over a dozen girls that were easily 8-10s that were overly friendly to me and who (now) clearly wanted me, but I had the redpill aloofness to me when dealing with them because I didn't see them as potential partners.

Then I've gone and implemented the redpill attitude and theories in my dating "game" and had massive success. I've cold approached girls with a "bad boy" attitude who just didn't give a shit about them, and had massive success. With the few I've tried it with, they became almost immediately hooked to me. I could see their eyes widen with attraction just from a cheeky remark which my bluepill self would see as "assholish" and my redpill self would see as playful. But inevitably I would actually become attracted to all of them, and care too much about them, at which point I would revert to my bluepill self and they became INSTANTLY repulsed.

I've seen countless of examples of how TRP describes the female psyche in my life, and they all make a lot of sense. But at the same time I reserve the idea that it could just all be a massive confirmation bias. Regardless, I know that implementing the RP attitude in my life has had success, so whether or not it's true doesn't matter that much when it comes to improving my relationships.

TRP is an echo chamber. They silence all dissent and if you don't repeat the party line they silence you too. Safe to say they absolutely do not change and adapt in the slightest.

A 1000 anecdotes from 1000 people is not the same quality data as a double-blind study. Still, if that's all you have, people tend to go with it.

I find TRP tends to over generalize things, especially about what women want. Women are all different. So I go and date different women until I find someone I like.

As much as I dislike painting anything with too broad of a brush, I will make a sweeping generalisation here and say.... meh..... mostly/sometimes/kinda/maybe.

Most things in life come with an expiration date..... or a "window of opportunity" if you will. TRP jedi mind tricks CAN work on most any woman if you hit the window of opportunity.... but as with most things in life.... that vulnerability expires in almost every woman once she has her OWN shit together.

Are there women that NEVER get it together? sure! Are there women that hit their expiration date as soon as her boobs become more of a focal point than her eyes? yep! I will however relate from my own personal experience that I got laid the most liberally as a Marine, then cop, then guitarist, and finally.... coming in dead last....... random fucktard with an opinion on the internet.
