You are erecting a false equivalency and then labelling them hypocrites. First, men and women are not equal so such comparisons don't mention merit. Secondly, what virtue have TRP claimed that they are refuting by their actions to earn the label of hypocrites?

Do you see women getting up in arms about that? Is any woman upset over being considered "good mother and wife material" by her man?

ESPECIALLY if they want children themselves one day - which, among other things, simply requires being a good father and provider?

Do you have anything constructive to debate besides negative statement after negative statement? I personally don't know enough about this woman's situation to jump to any conclusion. All I know is that among the Asian Americans I know, yeah, there is a small fraction that consciously dates other races when younger with the knowledge that they'll likely have an Asian man waiting for them later. There's also a substantial fraction who actively prefers and pursues "nice Asian guys." There's a fraction who dates a mixture of races. I mean, we don't know how this woman really thinks and we can choose to take her word for it or not but it doesn't matter.

In any case, the assumptions made in the red pill about the races of who this woman was sleeping with bothered me more...

you're missing the important part. Most women will look at a "good provider and husband" and ignore him until they are 30 or so and have slept around countless times and the men are expected to be waiting. Most men (excluding some of TRP PUA/MGTOW/nevermarry) would be ELATED to find and date a good mother and wife type woman, they just can't find them. Later, at 30 or so, women begin lamenting that all the "good men" are gone, because most of them changed out of bitterness or got lucky and found a keeper and are now married with kids.

Besides, TRPers engage in the same behavior as the asian woman in question: they "sample" many different types of women but at the end of the day settle down with someone they view as a good wife and mother.

TRP is a reactionary movement. Women are wasting their youth on hooking up, so if we don't want to sit at home/work and wait the only game in town is to get on that horse. I consider myself redpill, and can attest to the effectiveness of the methods and fully plan on getting married/kids one day. If I meet her tomorrow, great I don't have go on a million more dates to find a worthwhile woman. That said, might as well enjoy the search, right?

being considered mother and wife material is a point of pride for women, it always has been. I already elaborated on why men are upset at being considered providers. You may want to look at women's reactions to "provider" type men cutting these women out of their lives when it sinks in that they will be waiting for nearly a decade while the woman parties before settling down with him.

It's not the fact that men don't like being gauged on their provider skills...... men don't like being used as the provider and then not get any sex, respect, or attraction out of the deal. Why provide for a woman who is going to cuck you or just sit there? Why should a good woman stick around some drunk idiot who drinks her income?

The problem here Negative is that women reneged on the deal not men..... men are still expected to provide, but women aren't expected to do jack shit, the gender roles have fallen apart and now women are able to call out men for just making a spreadsheet of sexual excuses. That's not hypocrisy, that's just calling out a shitty deal.

I dunno about TRP but I would personally be offended if a woman I considered "good" wasn't being treated at a certain level of consideration......I've called out friends who cheated on good girls and told them what idiots they were.... then again this might just be the Catholic in me talking and not TRP.

Absolutely! Why wouldn't they? Women are (or at least want to be) much more than just baby-makers and homemakers. They want to be loved for everything they are and accepted for everything they are not. They want to be a complete human being, and loved for all of their qualities and potential, not just the part that her man happens to like.

Because being viewed as a "good provider" indicates a level of objectification on par with a woman being a "good lay." Only since it's not about sex, it's okay to be seen as what you do rather than who you are.

Now, no person, man or woman is going to object to being referred to as a wonderful, loving, inspiring person who is also a good provider/father/wife/mother to boot. But anyone might bristle that their most attractive (perhaps only?) quality is that one of which someone else can easily take advantage.

Being seen as a provider is no fun. Women aren't attracted to providers, they're with them because they need someone to provide for them. Mothers and wives can be attractive. If they weren't, they wouldn't be mothers and wives, they would be old and alone, taking care of other people's children.

There has been a lot of talk everywhere about postings where men are shocked when they find out about their SO's sexual past.

The lack of understanding on the women's side is mind-boggling to me. Both men and women are usually able to empathize and understand that men see some things differently and women see some things differently.

But women seem totally clueless when it comes to "why does her sexual past matter?"

They are quick to conclude "insecure", "he should go to therapy", "that's because of society's misogyny" and so on.

It's even more baffling in real-life when I talk with women. They have absolutely no clue why their new boyfriend is jealous of her exboyfriends and even more jealous of her former hook-ups.

Basically everything they say only makes it worse. "But he was just a loser. The only thing he had going for him was his looks" (You're not helping), "it was only sex" (you're making it worse), "there is no danger of me going back to him, he has a totally hot new girlfriend, he absolutely loves", "I would never go back to him because he cheated on me all the time" ...

They have absolutely no idea why her boyfriend is jealous. It's not because he thinks she might go back to her boyfriend. And it's not because he is afraid that her ex was "better" than him.

What she is really doing is talking about her fears here. She is afraid that his ex was better than her. She is afraid that he might go back to her.

So she thinks he has the same fears and that they explain his jealousy. That is classic solipsism.

But somehow, "He is a romantic guy. He has never had sex outside of a commited relationship. Her promiscuous past hurts him because it shatters his romantic beliefs and needs", rarely comes up when in my opinion and experience from real-life it's the only thing you really need to bring up. But this is often not brought up at all.

Sure, there is more to it. We talk a lot about why her sexual past matters on trp, but ultimately, and this is evident when you read all the /relationship posts where men who have never read a single trp article, are shocked when they find out about their gf's past, ultimately it's not a rational thought but a strong feeling where a romantic blue pill guy who is crazy in love is hurting like hell. And you can argue about whether the feeling is justified or not for ages, but this doesn't change the fact that it is there. You can't convince him to not feel it just like you can't explain to someone why he should be in love with someone.

And suddenly, he has "unrealistic stupid romantic beliefs" that he should drop, because he is being immature. But somehow marrying someone and promising her to always love only her, till death does them part is not an "unrealistic stupid romantic belief" and it is the mature thing to do.

Lifelong monogamy is a difficult thing. It is a romantic ideal, a dream really, that can work. It is so magical because it goes against our natural urges. And it works if both partners celebrate this romantic ideal. A simple thing like a relationship between a man and a woman is turned into something magical and romantic through marriage.

But is it really so hard to understand that this romantic ideal of partnership is affected by someone's past?

I don't get why that is so hard to understand.

Do you know there different types of goals for different types of Men that uses TRP? There are those who spins plates, MGTOW, LTRs and others in between. Each of them have a different goal that utilizes TRP to reach them, an LTR would want a low number count while someone who spin plates couldn't care less. This is what so frustrating about BP is that they minimize TRP into a simplistic being that every discussion becomes redundant.

This is another common post that has no research and should be posted to TBP so that you can be validated by your brethren. Theres nothing here to discuss.
