I'm not sure men even have a window. Charles Manson died married to a girl he met in her teens and he was behind bars; The Brad Pitts, Terry Richardsons or Andy Warhols of the world will always be able to find a far younger woman in their 20s or even teens (just ask Mel Gibson!) To shack with them, and you know it isn't necessarily for the money or fame; Women have always liked certain types of men who just don't give a flying fuck, which seems to be the common denominator far more than his looks: For example, Oliver Reed in his 40s marrying some 16 year old Irish girl in a church wedding who had no idea who he was or that he was famous; Terry Richardson is ugly as sin yet I'd argue he has been with far more beautiful women than Brad Pitt (and survived his MeToo scandal relatively unscathed, since he's still getting lots of work, etc. etc.

Even homely university professors who have niche cult followings and can barely be pointed out of a mugshot gallery are in on the action, with Zizek's wives getting younger and more modelish. Lord knows he's not made of money or blessed with a Narcissus' countenance.

I just don't see the evidence that men age out the way women do. I am not saying this to be mean, but it just seems like a cope from single women who can't deal with the fact that men will no longer throw themselves at them (hey, my mother got remarried in her 50s, so I won't even say it isn't possible).
