I don't have a divorced buddy, but I have run escort for friends recently out of LTR's.

Kamikaze night!

Ok, what you do is you dress up, and I mean really look good. Causal suits, proper shave, (Take him for a hot shave at a barber) and really make a good night of it.

Then what you do is find a place with women WAY out of his league. His task will be to approach this women, with the express purpose of getting shot down (hence the name)

He is to approach woman WAY above his level, if he is a 5, he must approach 7+ women.

He needs to do a kamikaze night for a number of reasons.

Learn how to approach women, in a way that has zero pressure.
He can work on his " talking to women skills"
He may actually fluke some game, and take one home.
Needs to develop some slightly more fire proof skin when approaching women.

Telling him to "go out and act douchey" will be bad for a blue pill because he will just come off as an abrasive asshole.

There is a subtly to acting asshole-ish in the right way to attract women, and just acting like a tool.

Oh, and keep the fucking cougars away from him. Someone like that is easy prey for a cougar, who needs more alimony.
