Haha this is typical reddit culture right there. Especially those "pun chains" -- it's become a knee-jerk reaction where I minimize the comment chain the moment I smell it coming.

I always try to add some interesting/helpful/worthy of consideration point on every comment I make, even if the comment looks really short or if it looks mockery. There's always some point to contribute.

It might be unwise to penalize short pithy concise comments.

Knowing how to be concise and sharp is a skill RP should value.

Sometimes a 3 word comment is the most powerful way to make a point. Shouldn't be removed automatically.

I got '22' upvotes on an image I linked to a one sentence comment. I understand we don't want reddit knee jerk bullshit, but do we have to remove all the fun. Sometimes this subreddit can be wayyyyyy to serious, I like to bring humor to those around me. Especially when some of them are enraged men who feel alone because they have been lied to their entire lives. This seems like unnecessary policing. If it was un-wanted, than why do I have upvotes.

I'm glad there's now an automated system to end the useless replies. I got sick of seeing every anecdote have a million replies of "AWALT" that contribute nothing to the discussion except make the community look like a bunch of lemmings. You have no excuse to not read the sidebar, but it is not your copypasta.
