What’s the context? If she’s an LTR next her. This is why vetting them hard is important. So it doesn’t even get to that point.

If it’s a plate literally ignore it. Do not even acknowledge that she said anything at all and pretend to remember something you wanted to say earlier to get off the subject.

If she continues to press, and essentially gets mad at you for not acknowledging what she’s saying, take it as a powerful indicator that she is not a quality woman. She clearly brought it up for the purpose of eliciting a negative response out of your or to gain hand in some way.

This is one of the most common shit tests out there, every girl does this. If she is mentioning specific guys that you know, she is checking your reaction to see if you consider him a threat. Girls know this is a very powerful test as pretty much all guys get insecure around Chad. But, if you pass this test she'll think you're the Chad.

Talk and chill nonchalantly like it's no big deal. Be non-judgmental so that she'll tell you more and you can decide how to proceed later.

Five or ten stories like this and she'll believe you're a major player, even if all the stories are with the same girl :)

First I’d say if you’re just meeting her it’s an IOD. In every other case play as you’re not bothering. Don’t say anything. Yet in a LTR situation keep a sharp eye on it, she might be short before or even already cheating.

First things first, this really isn't a test. It's her just blabbing her mouth and you reacting poorly.

In terms of how to respond, Everyone is already giving you the basics.

But if you want to get to the next level, you need to think about what you want out of the girl.

Your goal determines the response.

Usually when guys ask about this particular test (some other hot guy), it's because they're insecure. They care whether the girl likes them or not. They care whether she stays or not.

You need to get past that.
