I just got out of a 1 year relationship with a man who really dive into redpill idealogy. Just wanted to share my thoughts/experiences for anyone thinking about turning away from this. I’m now evaluating the entire relationship and a lot of his actions make sense now that I’m learning redpill techniques. He created a dynamic in the beginning that made me pursue and reciprocate before he made his next move. Was very transactional during the relationship. Did bare minimum. Hardly complimented or made me feel like I was special in his eyes. Was NOT vulnerable towards me but opened up more to his make friends about intimate details of our relationship while maintaining an indifferent cool facade with me. Was very punishing when ever he felt I wronged him. Made misogynistic comments about single moms, fat women, women in general. Maintained an “alpha” frame in the beginning but it eventually fell apart, he stopped working out, went from job to job and would rather stay in with me than hang out with friends.

I say all this to say this redpill stuff is very toxic and impossible to maintain if it’s not your true nature. The very things they taught him repelled and ultimately turned me off from him and resulted in the end of the relationship. I feel bad for him bcuz he really wants love and connection but has no idea that the poison he ingested is getting him the opposite results. It was shocking to see that he follows the rules to a T! But is also in therapy looking to learn ways to build a healthy relationship. Redpill tactics work for broken women with self esteem issues (whom you probably wouldn’t want anyway). Not a good woman who is willing to build and sacrifice and knows that people are nuanced. If you are looking for something substantial, look elsewhere.

*basically I think redpill teaches men how to manipulate their way into relationships/situationship but when they get in they’re completely lost and have no idea how to maintain it and ultimately lose. It also creates very self centered narcissists who only care about their purpose status and looks and you are just a means to an end. This was my experience.
