With cold approach you will run into this sometimes. You make an educated guess about their age, but that's just a guess.

They might think you're too old, or too young for them. There's not much you can do about that. To reduce the risk you should try to hit on those that look around your own age, that's about as much as you can do. But if you yourself don't care that much about age gaps just keep approaching those you fancy, and some women also won't care about it.

Even if she says u are too young, that doesn't mean she would not like you. If she approached you, she likes you, u just need to make her think this idea of beeing "too young" is preventing her to be happy.

Of course there is a tactic to overcome this. You are not obligated to give your real age. When she asks say " guess?" . Whatever she says say she's right and she's very clever for that, then change topics .

Later on after she is more invested into you you can tell her you were joking. Don't let these artificial constraints women create get in the way of a good connection.

for a girl, being older than you makes them feel old. so do everything to not make them feel old. and be clear and direct that she's not too old for you. women are insecure about being fat and being old. so if they approached you they already like you and need you to tell them confidently that their age is no problem and even say you think they look so much younger.

and if you take the advice from the other comments and you lie then please be legal in your country at least and also at least have no intention of being with her long term. the trust will be broken and the only girl who will come back from that probably doesn't value trust and that's not a good thing

Just wait until you are older. Until then approach just girls of your age and wait for girls of your age to approach you.
