How cold approaching changed your life?

One benefit that most guys here probably don't experience a lot these days is having no problem when they unexpectedly meet a girl's friends.

The community seems to have regressed. Most guys these days seem to only approach girls on their own.

Between 2005-2015, approaching groups was just standard.

The majority of attractive women you could meet have at least one other person with her.

That was parroted repeatedly in seduction advice at the time. And in 2025 it's still true. Look around. You'll see most of the hot girls have company.

I started seduction in 2009 and from 2013 onwards, approaching groups, or being out with a girl when we accidentally run into her friends has never been an issue. I know what to do and how to handle the situation because I never avoided it. You should stop avoiding it too.

I even met an ex girlfriend that I dated from 2013-2017 when she was out with her mom. Literally told her mom I thought she was cute and I wanted to meet her.

Back then, the biggest reaction I would get from other guys on that is, "Damn. Good shit dude", nowadays people act like its voodoo.

When did people in seduction stop recognizing paranoia about groups or even girls with their parents as simply limiting beliefs?

Oh by the way, that girl's friends said we were the best couple among their friend group.

With my current girlfriend who I met in 2019, we've only ever fought once.

Oh we have tons of disagreements but we solve them together, not against each other, and we don't give each other bullshit, we actually work together to solve our problems.

And I absolutely owe everything I've learned from 16 years of cold approach and seduction to my ability to have way more options and be 10x more picky than most guys on who I chose for a relationship, and also have the ability to communicate well enough so I can set up a relationship without any of the bullshit.

My relationship is easy. I don't get confused, I don't think women are mysterious creatures, I am able to get them to do and behave the way I want because I put in the work to actually understand them and have the skillset to get what I want from women instead of just bitching about it.

Cold approaching is one of the most underrated skills. It has a bad rap because it is associated with pickup artistry.

It has brought me many meaningful adventures in life and it feels much more spontaneous and "magical" than dating apps. Some of the best memories I've made have been through cold approaching.

It changed my life by permanently lowering my self esteem... I was age 26 in 2023 and I recorded over 100 of them on my Apple Watch. Last night I looked back at all of these rejections (some were actually fairly good conversations but none led to anything in the end), and they are just so depressing. Everyone has a boyfriend. It could be because of the way I look, but it was not a great experience and I've refrained from doing it since because i feel like i will be wasting my time.

I used to cold approach a lot and had success, but I regressed and am trying to get back into it.

My advice is to never stop; you are learning social skills that will be useful to you forever. I am getting back into it
