I recently started seeing someone who I clicked with very well sexually right off the bat. She's not the most responsive of texters though, going hours or sometimes a whole day without responding. At first I thought it was a bad sign but we've been together four or five times now and every time has been electric in the bedroom.

Best thing you can do is try not to overreact and blow up her phone. Wait a day or two at least to reach out if she doesn't respond to you. Keep inviting her out for dates.

Sometimes girls will give you a good show on the first date and get home and realize they weren't really that into it. Fingers crossed that's not the case for you, don't lose hope.

Just because you like her more than others doesn’t mean you can treat her better than the others or show more eagerness than you do with the others.

If she misses you she will reach out, which is when you make a date, so you have to give her a chance to miss you more than you miss her.

Don’t use texting to keep in touch, don’t use it to seek clarity, don’t use it for reinforcing the connection, only use it for setting up dates and if she is busy for a date or can’t make it that day, disappear so that she misses you.

Yes I know, the longer it takes the more you’re convinced that she’s losing interest. But that’s the beauty; it takes two to tango. Nothing else you can do, texting her again would just make it worse.

Sometimes girls pull back to test you. If you send a message like “hey, why haven’t you responded to my message” or something like that, you’re done. It’s really ruthless.

Best thing is to kinda match her energy, but at the same time if it takes too long to see her again, she will forget how it was to be with you. Some girls want you to pursue them and other girls want the challenge of persuing a guy themselves because they are bored of getting persued.

Could also be that another guy entered her life and maybe an ex that you can never compete with because they have a history together so these things are very very tricky.

What I would do is respond more or less at her pace but don’t make it too obvious, so sometimes repond after 24 hours and another time after 10 minutes. If you do it every time exactly as long as her, it will feel to her as if you are doing it on purpose (which you are) and that will make her believe that she is important enough to you that you need to apply these tactics. So there are a lot of ways how you can lose this. However, I believe if the chemistry is really there, a proper girl wouldn’t just write you off because of one ‘mistake’. Only girls that have been hopping from guy to guy will do this and you don’t want a relationship with them anyway.

Don’t double text. Don’t send long messages. Pursue her, but don’t chase her. Be completely non-needy; best is to accept it already that she is gone. And when you feel that the timing is right and the connection is still there, you could say “hey, it would be cool to see you again. When are you available?”. Just that.

I would say be the first to stop the texting and give it a week. Don't play games with her. If she texts you respond genuinely, but stop trying to be the one to start conversations all the time.
