I just recently turned 25 and am consistently asked everything from how old I am to "are you old enough to be in this bar" almost every time I go out. It was never too much of an issue in college but now that i'm in the adult world the relative difference of me versus other guys is much more obvious/exaggerated.

I have generally good game with a solid track record with women. This has never really affected my confidence before but it's become almost ridiculous how often this comes up often early in interactions.

I know that in the end it's all about your inner game/confidence and how you hold yourself but i'm looking for some advice on how I can improve the situation.

Other relevant points:

  • No, I can't grow a beard (I wish I could)
  • I'm 5'10 and 165 (attempting to gain weight)
  • I'm currently updating to a more mature wardrobe

I would love to hear from anyone else in a similar situation and/or someone who is older but could relate.

The last thing I would be very curious to hear is some general good comebacks/responses for when a girl condescendingly asks how old I am or some other snarky remark.

Some responses i've experimented with are:

  • "Barely 18, Don't tell on me"
  • "Old enough to take you home and spank you for asking me that" (this is obviously a polarizing and ballsy response especially since i'm typically asked early on in interactions but I have had some positive responses from it) -"Old enough to know that's a rude question" (I would say this jokingly and haven't actually tried this one yet but just came to me)
  • your suggestion?

Thanks guys!
