What helped me was Eastern Philosophy. You have to realize that they are probably going to be in your life a very short period of time. Maybe some of them won't, but most of them will. And you have to take the positive things you can from that and be genuinely grateful for the experience, without losing yourself to the desire to extend it.

I have the exact same problem, even with self talk it's hard to not do it. What I have found that helped me is doing sports and flirting with other attractive girls. Doesn't remove it completely, but helps a lot.

Dude, I hear you. I have given up on fixing it and just embraced it. It comes with a lot of highs, and a lot of lows, but on the whole it just means that you will be in for a lot of intense experiences. Nothing more, and nothing less.

Just make sure you don't give up on all other prospects while in lust. I've done that and regretted it when I got dumped haha.

Not lust sounds like puppy love, lust would be you in a relationship and every time you hang out you have sex. Having sex with your GF 7 times a week would sound like a lust/love conflict for example. But to answer your Q game more girls and learn how to deal with loss, also abundance mentality!

I suffer from limerence which is a similar situation, it's very intrusive and effects me a lot. Currently looking into something like CBT to see if that helps!

ughh the absolute worst, (holy fuck I just had a huge deja vue sitting in my living room right now, just wanted to document it)

Anyways yea this fucks me up good. most recently my game has been getting better and confidence was up, I attracted a fuckin hottie that everyone was after, took a couple weeks of work with the occasional tease or flirt or sex related joke etc. she put up a hard fight but I wasn't pushy, I just focused on my own stuff and she just sort of gravitated towards me over a period of a week and eventually couldn't resist and we ended up kissing, then making out and we literally went out together for lunch or something every day for like 2 weeks she was ready to go... quite honestly I was amazed, I'd never had a girl like her before, she pumped up my ego quite a bit telling me all the different ways she found me attractive, I'd never had a girl do that before...the game was working (i wasn't being fake either just myself)

Everything was going swell until I decided, hmm I really like this girl we should date and fall in love.

FUCK YOU BRAIN, then I started acting not myself and acting out of impulsive shit caused by the lust and fucked it up big time by saying some shit about breaking my heart, looking back it makes me cringe sooooo hard, but you learn with each experience.
