I try to get something out of every FR no matter how big or small the gain, and my recent one indicated to me that I need to better my ability to clearly show my intentions.

Is there a specific way to show intent that works better based on the person you are, particularly looks-wise?

I see guys who are traditionally attractive (in North America) - tall, white, nice hair flow going on, fit - definitely show their intent and it certainly works. But I'm a little nervous to do it the same way because I am not traditionally attractive and I find that good looking people get away with a lot more. Not to sound like I'm trying to bitch about the way i look, i work with the cards life dealt me, so I am asking this to improve myself further.
