Take your gf along. Have her pick out the girls for him. Have her start up the Icebreaker. She knows the game and understands what is possible. This also allows the girls at the bars to see he has friends and not a creepy dude.

I had a friend like yours. I tried to lead by example, I’ve shown him how to “get approached by girls rather than him approaching them”, but the first time a set of girls approached him he literally did run away scared as fuck.

He was too desperate to the point that I eventually had to stop going out with him.

He reminds me of myself. I would say to get him to approach first and tag along with to provide support, maybe talk to the other girls in the group while he talks to the girl he fancies. After being in this sub, whenever I go out with friends I am always trying to get them to come and talk to a group of girls with me but they always chicken out so I've just been saying fuck it and going up to the group alone.

To be a good wingman you need to motivate him, make him feels comfortable and be an extra set of eyes. You want to do what you can to set him up to success. First off make sure he's well-groomed (haircut, shave, cologne) and well dressed. Don't just make sure he's well dressed also make sure what he has on is comfortable.

Start off by get him to loosen up. My best wingman and I always take a few shots in the parking lot and go straight to the dancefloor once we get in the club. When we first get to the club we are more focused on dancing and feeling the club out. Again you want him to be comfortable, do what you can to help him feel comfortable in the element.

Be an extra set of eyes and motivate him. If a girl is checking him let him know. Give him some words of encouragement and tell him to approach her. If sees some girls he wants to talk to him tell him to just go up and talk to them. If it doesn't go his way just let him know girls will be coming and going all night if he's noticeably uncomfortable afterward an approach then club hop (go to a different club) don't let him dwell on the failure.

An important thing is to make sure he's having fun and warmed up. Warm him up by getting him to have a brief chat with the bartender it's part of their job to be nice and have conversations. If you're chatting with some girls and having friendly conversation pull him in the conversation to warm him up. Be positive so he has good energy to feed off of. With the example, I used before with my wingman and I start off focusing on having fun. If we don't get any girls we still have a good nice, when we do get it's an even better night. When you focus on just getting girls you lower your chances of attracting them organically. We literally just do goofy dances and chill, people naturally migrate to people that having a good time.

Make sure to be building up his confidence let him celebrate when he has success and point out the little things when things go wrong. It'll be a learning process for both of you. Stay consistent, realize that it's all get easier with time and experience.

Get him to read mystery method or some sort of material that will get him up to speed. As how to wing him? open the sets for him, demonstrate high value for him and then let him enter set. (hot game)

Handle interrupts for him and preoccupy the rest of the set if he's making contact with his target.

Used to be a wingman here in LA. Was hella fun. Went to college and tried it with my housemates, they all pussied out, I even said great things about them, always took the unattractive girls away from them. Stopped going out with them cause their really isn't much to talk if you're not trying to learn how to game or into the same lifestyle I am. I'm not into sports. So the conversations are pretty stale.

I would open the sets for him and bring him in. Determine some kind of signal or system for when he comes in, introduce him and pump his value. "This is Blah, this guy is the most [bullshit compliment] i've ever met."

If you're good enough you probably don't need her, but if your girlfriend is cute, she can help bust these sets wide open. But it sounds like he probably wounldn't be able to handle like a group of solid 9s. 6-7's are generally pretty approachable if you're not needy (which you won't be because you have a GF), so just bring him into those sets.

Part of the goal of a wing is to build his value, put him in a good position to succeed and take care of any logistical bumps. Distracting the "mother hen" who is being a bitch and trying to get her friend away from you guys, etc. A wing can do an AMAZING job of simply keeping the convo going. He will be nervous and run out of things to say, so you just be social and keep things going. That's half the battle. Ask people "how they know each other", try to find out if the girl he wants is just in town for the night, if she has a gaggle of friends she has to go back to, if she lives 2 hrs away, etc. and make him aware of those logistical considerations. Build him up, tell him he's doing a great job, and make sure he gets in there and gets the number or try to bounce to her place when it's time to close it. My wing always tells me "she's into you" about all different kinds of girls at the bar, and he's probably lying half the time, but it fuckin WORKS because then i believe it and go after her. Do that kind of stuff.

My friend literally did the trick from How I Met Your Mother “Have you met Noodlebob?” And walked away and I was talking to that girl for a while even though it didn’t work out. It completely eliminated approach anxiety cause there was no approach lol. Even if he fucks it up initiating is the hard part for noobs so give that a try.
