Simple, don't hang out with them when you've put your clothes back on. If you linger around after blowing your load then they will think that you want them for companionship.

DO: Perform all the foreplay that's necessary for you to bed them. DON'T: Invite them to go shopping afterwards.

As we say back home in England, finger 'em, fuck 'em, forget 'em. If you're a good enough lay they'll be back for more.

Tell them straight up you aren't interested in a relationship. It's shitty to mislead someone into believe something is going to happen that you have no interest in.

I've got no experience to back this up but TD alluded to this in a post he wrote on 'Being Genuine.' Give a routine early on in your interaction with the girl about how you've done SOMETHING (anything, doesn't even have to be sexual) with a FB or a FwB. Include that terminology in your story. If a girl was telling you a story about a casual relationship she had, you get the point: she does that shit. If she says, "Yeah, "I'm really looking for a lay," then the point really hammers home. Don't say that line (ASD warning, as well as DLV), but if you give her the impression early on that you are that kind of a guy, then she sees you as a potential outlet for her sexual needs, and doesn't assume you'll be there for her emotional needs (boyfriend material).

Call her less, and see her less often. Hang out with your friends more. Don't give her your weekends...maybe one day of the weekend if you really like her. Don't make longterm plans (like spending Christmas with her family, for instance). Don't bring up the L word (unless it's true). Change the subject when she starts doing any of those things.

Don't treat her like a girlfriend, and she'll have no reason to believe you're her boyfriend. You will lose some girls because of this, but far fewer than you'd think, as long as the attraction is very high.

At any given time, I tend to let one girl (my favorite) think of me as a boyfriend (though not a very serious one, since I move a lot and don't want entangling alliances), and keep maybe one or two others clearly in the fuck buddy category. I see the "girlfriend" two or three times a week, let her sleep over on those nights. The others I see when I feel like some variety.

All that said, don't string along a girl that wants a serious relationship. Cut her loose. There are plenty of girls who want something fun, something non-serious, and something exciting. Go find some of those.
