I've read some comments recently about how the seduction community has changed people's perspectives on the whole pickup game, namely how it has affected their everyday lives socialising with everyone else. After giving some thought to it, I was wondering about how my time here has changed as well, as I can distinctly remember multiple posts explaining how certain tips and tricks aimed at picking up girls have applied not just to the women they're after, but also in making strangers, bus drivers, waiters, and close friends feel comfortable around you as well.

So here's what I've learned this past year that I've managed to apply in my everyday social life:

  • The point of kino is to make people feel a lot more comfortable around you. Placing your hand on the small of a girl's back is like walking around with your arm over your buddy's shoulders in the sense that you're telling them you are chill and comfortable hanging around with them.
  • Talking means listening, and if you're not engaged in the conversation, you won't be able to sustain it. You don't spend the entire night with your friends interviewing them with questions, so don't do it to the girls you're after it. If you ask them something, make their answer mean something to you by giving it some of your colour and commenting on what it means to you.
  • Girls hook up with guys as fast as they do because that's just how comfortable the guy makes them feel. The hook up part is only a bonus to the situation. If you walk around trying to pull tricks on girls, you are doing the opposite and trying to sleep with the girl before making them feel comfortable. Believe in what you are selling; be chill, at ease, and confident with yourself and everybody around you will love having you around.

This last one applies mostly to people who have tried MDMA before:

  • Remember how easy it is for you to talk to anyone and everyone while rolling? Convince yourself you're like that everyday of your life even when you're not. Engage in casual talk with your waiter, your cashier, the person sitting next to you on the bus, etc. The more you do this, the easier it is for you to think of people as non-intimidating folk who are just as normal and friendly as you. Doing this also makes you think of women in the same way, by lowering them from the pedestal and drastically reducing your approach anxiety.
