wow these responses are trash. social proof is a thing. pre selection is a thing. i have close female friends and co-workers and when i socialize/interact in groups with them, there is definitely a difference. perception shouldn’t worry you but yea it can help. especially if ur female companion is friendly and socially comfortable. women like to talk to other women so when she introduces you to her new friend, if she already thinks ur attractive, it can make her abit more interested

Yes, there's a little nuance here but yeah. I often go out with a group of women I know from dance classes. I show up with women and I'm seen hanging out with them and faux flirting. I can strike up a conversation with any other woman there with ease because of it. You're just automatically not a possible creep. To quote the ladies " if you're seen with other women we think you're either rich, respectful or both, and at least not a creep." Hell, years back there was a shot girl I knew, I'd show up, point out a girl to her, tip her and she'd have that girl approaching me within 10 min. I've seen a guy from my group pursuing one of the girls and she had no interest, until he brought a date along one time....

That said, lookout for coded possessive statements, they can be very subtle and female friends who aren't really interested in you can still be either possessive or overly judgemental of the girls you're interested in. Eg.

I was chatting up one girl and had just asked if she was staying around I was gonna go grab a drink. A female friend ( possibly thinking she was helping) rolls by right about that time and says " he really likes curly hair". The friend also had curly hair and thus the girl I was interested in took this as " he's mine bitch, he's only talking to you because you look like me". Which is probably subconsciously what she kind of meant even though the only motivation was competition, she has no actual interest in me. This caused the other girl to suddenly back completely off when she had been very receptive and flirty prior to that.

I could give a bunch of examples but that one shows a lot of the nuance. For the most part you don't really want her to " help" just be around, unless she really knows what she's doing.

Women have a tendency to feel safer amongst other females. They perceive like "Oh this male must not be a creep because this other female trusts him, he must be decent."

Another example is if you are a male trying to kidnap a small kid, if you had a female with you, in the perception of the kid, you would seem more trustworthy than if you tried to get the kid by themselves to go with you.

Again, this is just another manipulative hustle that might work in some cases but generally not. If a woman is attracted to you she’ll give you signs, just pay attention. Look for frequent eye contact followed by a smile. If you get either of those two, or both that’s your cue to approach.
