Funny, as I drifted also towards old movies, yet remained in the western part of it. Mostly Noir movies and Western, due to both the portrayal of men and women are very different in those movies and the dialogue in those movies tend to be way richer than modern movies which portrays most guys as bumbling buffoons -.-' It's takes a while to get adjusted to the different way of filming and such, but you can definitely see another view of gender back then.

The best and positive thing you can say about dressing nice is. It could have the psychological effect of taking care of yourself, making yourself feel better about yourself.
